  2. i think this has something to do with cars, but i’m not sure. maybe it’s a dissolvent for paints, though. I have no idea what this is. I’m a girl, why should I know what turbine is? Should I keep writtting despite having nothing more to say?

  3. Wind turbine of course. I’m envisioning driving through the wide open yet equally narrow and forbidding curves in southern California as I head west from LA to the turbines about 20 minutes outside Palm Springs.

It’s a weird time trance there. Somewhere between the future where wind power governs the world and the romance and cheesiness of the 1950s/60s.

Something I love about LA and California overall. IT’s got glitz, big sunglasses and bad but humorous and endearing architecture.

It’s the Beverly Hilton. The relic of another time. It reminds me of wht was once the glamor of the Hilton Hotel in Longboat Key that now seems worn and dated and lovely reminiscent of childhood and another world.

It’s a Whitney Houston song. Powerful. Beautiful. Bold. Soulful. Tragic. The kind of tragedy you want to wipe away with one of her notes. Big hair. Big sunglasses

  4. the wind rushed through my hair as i pressed my foot onto the gas. the exhilaration, the excitement, it was all too overwhellming for me. my heart started to beat faster, and soon I knew it might become too late. i had to get to missy’s house, and fast, if i wanted to live through the day.

  5. I learned from the last time I wrote that a turbine is like a windmill. I like windmills; they’re usually in pictures of big open fields. I’d like to live in a big open field. Or at least spend a lot of time in one. It reminds me of the Dixie Chicks song, Wide Open Spaces. I don’t really listen to country, but I like their music.

  7. Wind turbines in my mind.
I love the sound. The sweet whirring is music, dulcet tones to my ears.
I needed to hear it at the end of the day. It calms me so. So calm.

  8. I don’t really know what turbine means. I mean, I think it has something to do with cutting wood, or airplanes, or the military, but I don’t really know. I like airplanes. I wish I could fly more often, but plane tickets are expensive. I want to travel more when I get older. I have got to kill my inner editor. Ugh. STOP BACKSPACING DAMMIT.

  9. The future is in our hands and yet we forget about the simplicity of a turbine. Wind and water can thrust this magnificent beast into motion which in turn can provide us with energy!

  10. once a day a turbine is spinning and things get killed in it like in the movie the incredibles.
