i am a waltzer. i waltz to the music in my heart under the stars, the sun and the moon. it completes me and makes me feel whole. This world is meant for dancers, for free spirits.
Alice
you and i read this poem one time and thought of the beauty a child sees; he cannot see his parents as adults, flawed. he sees them dance through the thunder of smashing plates.

waltzing is a very funny dance to watch, although somewhat graceful. Two people, bodies together, moving and twirling around a dance floor, for what? Seems a little stupid. It has no story, that I know of…what is the waltz trying to tellus? Just about the grace of it? I remember in the third grade, learning this dance, and how my partner’s hands were clamy. Aren’t kids funny?
Carol
They waltzed through the house, not caring who saw. They waltzed through the garden, above them all. They waltzed through the sky, above the stars, above all cares, and waltzed till the end of time. They were in each others arms for an eternity.
Emily
we want a song that works. when all the family see us on the floor, we don’t want them to laugh. with the waltz they will. oh yes, they surely will.
Ed
dance like a swan. or maybe do the can-can but nothing beats the elegance of a waltz.
waltz is a sort of dance that people do. I dont know much about it but from what i know it is a formalized dance. Not so free flowing as hip hop or urban dancing thats common now as

waltzing matilda, go aussie go, steal those lambs. Win that world cup.
The shadows gather in the corridors and the waltz of memories begins. I shudder involuntarily as they reach out to me, pulling me into the eye of yesteryear.
you came right in and you thought you owned the place. dont worry about saying hi to the friends who were always there for you, its not like we picked you up off the floor when he broke up with you, twice. too bad you think youre arragant. ive had enough of the eggshells. i will speak my mind regardless of teh consequences when you are around.
rachel
A dance, never really cared for it. I’m more partial to hip hop or contemporary. When I used to watch ‘so you think you can dance’ I hated the waltz or any other form of ballroom dancing. Boring.

in vienna people dance all the time, in their houses, at work and in the streets

you are a living waltz, you never do anything without thinking about it first, there are steps you won’t do because they simply are not part of your dance.i can count on you to always act the same..you never step out of character..never take any ‘true’ risks..you just don’t have it in you,you claim to be wild liberal and go for broke, but your clown mask proves that theory wrong.you have less in common with the wild active hippy girls of the sixties than you do with nuns wearing their habits in the sixties.you claim you only react to my meaness..well,’duh’,I’ve known that for years.any attempts my me at being nice were/are quickly rejected by you.why do you think i treat you the way i do?for the fun of it?this is the only way you’ll respond with any sort of respect towards me..and that(in a glaring example of how predictable you always are)says more about you than it does about me…
Re:Joyce
waltz is a dance i learned in a hallway around halloween time while partaking in an after school program for my drama class, it was kind of random considering i was dressed up as a zombie at the time and was being taught by a tour guide…good times.
andrew
dance left right left left right, and a one two a left right ah. Mr. Michaels, I want to win that prize. I really want the prize!
Nick
I waltz around most of the time pretending to glide across the dance floor but mentally I’m stumbling and falling, dying to do the can can!
i loved waltzing in the 1950’s with Danna she was so graceful in her moves and the curvature of her spine fit like a puzzle piece with the palm of my hand it was as if i was always meant to dance this waltz with her here for eternity. then when i woke i saw a shadowy figure sip away and off into the night

Wascat? I waltz sometimes. Cat?

Johann Sebastian Bach would often write waltzes, waltzes are very often written in a quick tempo. They resemble allemande and other fast dances. People often declare that they will go for waltz.
Michael Perusse
As I waltz from triviality to triviality, I find my elegant walk through day to day life disturbingly and expertly dull. If only I’d learned to swing when I was young.
I want to dance with you, all night if I could. You, you, you. You are all I think about. You waltz in my heart like a knight, a common, uncommon unique knight.
bluey
There’s a jazzy tune being played by a guy with a old sax across the room. He’s accompanied by a pianist smoking a cigar whie lighlty tapping the keys. You see pretty legs with red heels partnered with legs inside dark legged pants that end in black, shined shoes. The soft music grates on your ears and the elegant dancers are hard to see through the alcohol haze… or maybe through the tears, it’s hard to tell.
I hear a melody far in the distant, my feet start to move, and as I look into your eyes, I am slowly in a waltz with you, and this is our very special first dance.
I go to the party and all I see is a sea of unfamiliar faces. They are cold and uninviting, but in the center of the room is a young couple and they are dancing ever so sweetly.
Nick Hart
We waltz’d into the night. She stared longingly into my eyes. I felt like melting into the nights air. She was beautiful. You know some say the best dresses are the ones that look good coming off.
Mocha Bear
dancing serenely in a quiet room. watlzing old couple celebrating 50th wedding anniversary. clumsy teenagers struggling to not stand on each other’s feet. elegant dancers floating across the floor. colourful dresses and high heels.
Nicola Johnson
I gently placed my mask on my face and quickly glanced towards the mirror. I was ready. I stepped out of my hotel room to be nearly trampled by a bunch of rowdy teenagers. Little did they know this would be the time of their life
Aeron
I love to waltz. it reminds of the musical Cinderella and how I want to find a prince charming. that’s a good word to use! Charming;it is a very charming form of dancing — so elegant; so pristine
Alison
They moved together in perfect unison. one two three four. he had never felt this way before and it felt as though years of silence and fear were being erased in a few steps. one two three four. and the boy who everyone had said was mute whispered, “I love you…”
I like to waltz. I learnt to waltz for my wedding. We taught ourselves at home, following a youtube video. It probably wasn’t the best way to learn, but now I have a dance to pull out at special occasions and what not.

The Waltz is a very personal dance. When done properly it is a thing of beauty. Every couple should learn to dance together, it will bind them together for a life time.
Peaceable
dance slowly
savouring the moment
magic can happen
just maybe.

Dance…Never thought I’d do the waltz in my life to be honest. It’s strange and sounds classical. I’m not into classical and I think I’m going off topic. This has to be about the word right? Or is it about whatever springs from my mind due to the word. I dunno, it’s still a weird dance even tho I don’t know much about it
Zachary
He couldn’t stop waltzing. Even after his last lesson. Even after the dance that he took lessons for. Even though his date couldn’t waltz and left him halfway through to meet up with girlfriends at a bar to line-dance to awful country music.

waltz with bashir was a very good movie, similar technique to an animation I did for firstyear uni.
I already wrote about this, but here goes: I beleive that a true appreciation of the waltz depends on the music and the waltzers
I waltz with death in this tear-filled life. I waltz with courage and with strength. I waltz to live in happiness.
it’s hard to clear our minds and let ourselves spin, or be spun, blinded. but your eyes as my spotter keep me balanced, somehow.
I continue to dance and throw fists in the air from the mid-tempo of the music we hear. Of the lies I hear.

Ooooh yeah BOOM.
I can’t think of anything else waltzy.
Waltzing matilda?
