  1. Watch as it spirals out of control, so pretty in a clear blue sky with no clouds or vapour, nothing at all except one man in a streamlined metal box, desperately fighting for his life and leaving a glorious trail of sparks.

    Tom
  2. I don’t have a watch. i found one in Belize once, and I’m pretty sure it’s lost in my room somewhere. I hear it beeping sometimes. maybe behind the bookshelf. I don’t like to watch TV. Movies, I like though. I have good memories with movies. Especially in theaters.

    Robin

Watch me start anew with things I dont understand.
Watch me make you want me.
And not make you into what I want you to be.
Watch me want you for just you, who you are.
    No changes.
    Watch me.

    Samantha
  5. i watch you as you lie there. so peaceful in your sleep, it seems this is the only time we can stand to be around each other. In repose locked together, in the day we fight…

  6. watch the moon with the man watching me over the hill and into the trees for the harvest is soon to be here.

    charlotte

  9. I watch you when your face is turned away from me. You turned your head and gazed me. We both know that I really like you. We both know that it will lead nowhere; there is no possible future with you with our vast differences in religion. Still, I wonder what could have been.

    Laura
  10. Look at the street. The city is alive.

Men and women move in a sea–they step left right right left right in sequence as they walk, run, jog to work and school and the homes of those they love.

Music spills from the windows and doors in the nights: the rhythm of speech and laughter fills the night air and illuminates the night. It’s only in this city that the people are brighter than the streetlights and louder than the car horns.

So now the rule has turned to you have to graduate college for a Rolex. both my older sisters have gotten one. dammit. but i wanna donate half the money I would get from a Rolex to charity anyway.

  15. he heard her keys jingle as she opened the door
she came running down the stairs, she swung open that glass door
as if it was simple as hell to lift that heavy door everyone struggled with
tequila had a way of making her rambunctious
she thought it was her brother in the room,
    it wasn’t though
but she didn’t mind, they sat and talked for hours
mixing the perfect background music, together
as if they knew each other for years.

  16. You know, I truly hate just watching. It’s so boring. DOING is better in my opinion. That’s what I do, and that’s what I think everyone should do. It’s more fun~ So stop watching and start doing! Geez this wasn’t really all about the word watch, was it?

    Kaye
  17. Watch, because you want entertainment.

  19. I watched the clock. It was ticking the slowest I had ever seen it move. Seconds, minutes, hours. They all seemed the same. Except for the ticking. The tick of the clock was incessant, unbearable, obnoxious. It was tedious, ridiculous–the only thing left to focus on was the pain in my leg.

  20. As I watched the second hand move in a circle, I couldn’t help but wonder if there was anyway I could stop time for just a second. Stop time just so I can stay here, in this moment forever and not have to deal with the harsh realities that await me.

  21. I love to watch football, tv, sesaon changes, stars, rivers, lakes, oceans, sunsets, fireworks, basketball, parties, children, movies

    John
  23. watch this and listen carefully, i’ll only show you once, but i promise it’ll be good. I haven’t done this in a while and i’m a bit nervous, but back in the old days i did this without so much as blinking an eye. it’s funny how time goes past and though your mind knows exactly what to do, it’s like your hands loose their memories and you’re left….

  24. there are always tender moments. usually i just feel like i’m watching them, not a part of them. why is that separation always there?

    clover

  26. It was a silver pocket watch that he had given me for my fifteenth birthday…I treasured it more than anything else in the world. However, it was holding me back. It was the only way I knew how to let go, so I watched as that watch fell down, down…ten stories down.

  27. All seven of them stood at the top of the hill, watching the comet in the sky. Little Arlo asked, “are they supposed to get bigger and bigger like that?”

    Beep, beep, beep.
    Game over.

  30. he glanced down at the ticking hands and heaved a sigh. His date was already late. What a way to start a relationship. The people passed by him without a care and he felt his heart ache until he saw his date, limping, his lip split and bleeding, one eye swollen shut, and his heart stopped.

  31. Watching doesn’t mean seeing, and seeing is the most overrated of all the senses. Better to feel the burn than watch it turn red, better to kiss the cold, than to see it turn blue. Better to interrupt and feel life, than watch it amble by, minding its own business.

  32. The watchdog resumed its silent vigil. Leanne slowed her breathing down to where she could talk normally and said, “Okay, I think we’re at the Border. How do we get out of here?”

Chase rolled his eyes. “The border guard? Are you freaking nuts? We’ll sit in here till our eyes rot out of our head and consider ourselves lucky if they don’t torture us.”
