She looked over the baby trees in her yard, mentally picturing them as tall stately giants they will be in a couple of generations. Until then, it was her duty to pave their way to adulthood.

Ah, the moon, reflecting the three phases of a woman's life, was now waning. The woman looked at her goddess and reflected how she herself was now nearing her waning phase, wondering what this new life was going to bring her.
