A high pitched squeal made it's way out of his mouth. "Thank you! Did I tell you how much I love you? Cuz I really think I should, shouldn't I? I love you, so so mu-" I shoved him out of the door. "Go! before I change my mind." I hissed.

Bland.The walls,the skies, the air we breathe,seemed to be lacking in individuality,each built up of different properties,yet oh so similar.And,I was no different.

"My brave little girl," She ran her hand down my hair smoothing it out. "It'll be ok, alright?" I nodded,hesitantly. She clung onto me,tears soaking through my shirt. She let go.The thick blanket of smoke and ash enveloped her,never to be seen again. That was the last memory I had of her. Mom.

Nothing has happened. Nothing will happen. You hope. You pray. That something will. But, as usual nothing does. You pace around, your feet eating away at the wooden floor. Waiting for something. Anything to happen. But nothing does. And nothing ever will.

They gathered like a flock of sheep, scrambling,scratching, pushing their way towards the knocking of teeth and the flailing of limbs.They watched on.Eyes shone like wolves;hungry, waiting; like wolves they wouldn't stop until they saw blood.With the prey taken down,the wolves dispersed, returning home, leaving the prey to bleed out on the stone cold floor;dead.

Would she ever recover from this? Most likely not.But she made the effort to try,to get better everyday, to walk on her own.She tried each and everyday, and each and everyday, she fell, but she kept getting back up.I recall one of those days;she fell and never got back up. (so, so tired)

This is so difficult. Why can't I write?Why can't I put a simple point across without coming off as cliche or cheesy? I brought my hands to my face and groaned in frustration.Stupid writer's block. I slammed my head on the desk. How will this scene play out? Slam. How will this character develop? Slam.Slam.Slam. I stopped.I sighed. Might as well just stop and call it a day-then it hit me. I scrambled to get the pen and paper and hurriedly wrote my idea down.Perfect.

Eyes glowing.Teeth bared. He stared menacingly at the small boy in front of him.He smirked.He smelt so, so good.As he made his way towards the boy, the boy kept walking back until his back hit a tree. He pressed his body on him and and lowered his head to his ear. "Where you tryin' to go little lamb?" He whispered,voice deep and sultry against his ear.The boy shuddered. "I'm not gonna hurt you," He said, bringing his hand up to the boy's face, thumb gently stroking his cheek. "but," He grabbed his chin,forcing the boy to look up. "if you try a stunt like that again,there's no guarantee I won't."
