Ihad the key... it lay before me glinting in the tiny ray of sunlight that crept through the crack in the door. But alas, my body felt much too heavy, to unbearably dense to lift up, even the finger which was only an inch away from the key.

trap

it was a trap, a psychological trap from the beginning…a manipulation of thoughts, they made it the reason i was alive. What else could i do except comply to their needs…. what choice had i…i let them believe i was enjoying it..it was my own fault that i couldn’t get out…. but its too late to turn back now ..it has become who i am , what i am and all that I am.

overjoyed

i was overjoyed to see the ship finally land in the dock. waving my handkerchief movie style i watched eagerly for the passengers to start getting off.

blast

The blast of the kettles steam was sudden and it seemed to awaken everyone in the room from their daze. "So, what's for dinner today?" asked my father, half interested, as the rest of us shifted off to the other room. We knew there was a row coming.
