The rocks crunched under the tires. The children looked out of the windows of the car, gawking at the landscape, the rolling hills, the rolling mountains in the distance. They had lived their entire lives in the city, they had never seen the open terrain of the south.

A gust of wind blew though the trees, her hair golden hair blew about. He smiled at her elegance, she was beauty, and he was so happy to call her his.

All through out childhood, I would watch my mother. She was grace, I loved watching her parade around the house in fabulous dresses, and sparkling jewelry. My sisters and I were hypothesized by her full, red lips. I was especially curious about the chest in her closet. I used to peek into my mother's room while she hummed melodies and danced about. She would go into the closet, open the chest, and come out wearing one of many dazzling dresses. She saw me once, peeking through the door. She invited me in and opened that chest. I had never felt so magical. After she died, she left the chest and all its contents to me. When I opened the chest, all of the dresses and jewelry I loved as a child, lied there faded and worn. I picked up my favorite dress, and I cried.

He walked into the small room, waiting for him was a young boy. The boy was coughing, it was allergy season after all. He smiled at the young boy then looked around the corner to greet the boys mother, "Well it seems that Tyler has a slight fever, but it's nothing to worry about. He just need some over the counter medicine and a lot of bed rest." Tyler's mother gave a sigh of relief and thanked him. As Tyler struggled to get off of the exam table he looked up at the pediatrician and smiled, "Thanks mister" Tyler said in a small, timid voice. He smiled at the young boy and picked up his clip board, this was why he loved his job.

A scream filled abandoned house. "PLEASE NO" a helpless girl ran from out of the darkness, she ran into the empty barn. The girl hid behind an old crafting table. A tall mangled shadow entered the barn soon after, his deep, ghostly voice echoed in her ears, "Come out Lucy.. I just want to talk." The shadows nails screeched against the rotting wood. It knocked rusted tool off of the table the girl was hiding behind, she tucked her knees in tighter and began to sob. Suddenly, it was quiet, it had stopped and seemed to leave the barn. She peeked around the corner, it was gone. She got up and slowly made her way to the door. Just as she thought everything was okay, its hand emerged from the darkness, "NO PLEASE STOP!" its laugh haunted the barn as her screams of agony played on the background.

She rushed down the hill, her bike hissing beneath her her feet. The wind blew through her hair as her eyes were forced shut by the wind. She loved the hilly terrain of San Francisco, the foggy days and the salty air. Her bike screeched to a halt, she picked up a small picnic basket, and smiled at the beautiful view of the Golden Gate Bridge.

I looked at you as you focused on the road ahead. We had been in that tiny little VW for 6 hours and still had 3 hours to go. The moon was full and your eyes were wide, I had never been so content.
