The birds flew frantically, searching for protection from the grievous storm. Lightning struck again and again. Lucky there are no trees up here in the tundra, or they would all be fried.

Here we were lounging, in the hot springs. It was awful, since the guys always got dropped off first the small pool would be stirred up and algae ridden by the time we arrived. Life is tough. (sarcastic on the last sentence)

How long can I take this? Time away from the protection of my family of God, it seems to pass with trials and tribulations. Tripping and stumbling. God knows how much I can take, and He has created hope in the fog.

Life is a miracle in itself. "In the beginning, God created the heaven and the earth." "For God so loved the world, that He gave his only begotten Son."

The tundra is now bright red, though soon and too soon it will be covered in brilliant white. Snow, the enemy of a prospector.
