  1. One time when I was younger I became obsessed with the planets and outer space. My dad took me one night to go buy a telescope from someone and we spent the night looking up different stars and planets. It’s one of my only good memories with him.

  5. whoa difficult. So, I would love if I had a personal telescope with me and someone who could tell me what I would be looking at. But then, on second thought, I might get bored after some time :P

  9. Telescope can be used to study the planets and stars in the sky at night. We can observe the substances closely and so the scientists use the device often and sit at the window and spend the time at nights.

  11. The stars are bright, and the sky is clear. There are so many stars, but only with a telescope can you see the hidden ones. The ones worth putting in a lot of effort to see.

  12. I often thought I would want one of these when I was a kid but I soon realized how it would go to waste. I was neither interested in the stars or the neighbors. well, ok I did want to see the neighbors but I had noone to look at in the suburbs.

  13. The first telescope was invented by Galileo, and it magnified things 8 times, I believe. He looked at Jupiter and noticed four moons around Jupiter; these are called the Galilean moons. It was a big deal because everyone at the time thought the Earth was the center of everything.

  14. I walked back and forth pacing, my hands behind my back. The cool night air brushed my legs. I dropped to me knees sticking my eyes to the small lens. It was amazing seing what I saw from such a small girl.

  17. My eye brushed the rim of the cold metal telescope as I looked through the long narrow tube and out into the endless expanse of sky that was filled with stars and planets and lost wishes and forgotten dreams.

  18. kind of like a periscope, but into into the heavens. wonder if bearded men have to clip beard to use it? how far can you see before your mind can’t catch up with yoru eyes?

  19. The telescope gave me a perfect view into her window. I saw her slip out of her dress and let it fall to the floor, oblivious that she was being watched. I changed my view to the rifle scope. She didn’t know what hit her.

  20. Looking down the telescope, what can you see? You hope for stars and planets and a whole new dimension, out there, staring back at you. Instead there is black, disappointment. Damn light pollution and modern life for taking away your dreams.

  22. the man was using his observatory to look through his telescope to see all the beautiful stars. he was even able to find mars Venus and Jupiter. he had always wonder how they worked so he decided to open it and look at each of th lenses to see what he could see.

  24. i watch out further then i can see. i watch a world that is beyond my vision and my comprehension. i know nothing about the things i cannot see, the only things i can possibly know exist are the things i know exist. there is so much more beyond that. beyond that vision, that short scope of our understanding.

  29. seeing a new perspective. someone far is looking near but in reality distance are really far apart. It connotes a memory of a movie, of stars and of dreams. Telescope is also related to science and technology

  37. what do we even know were seeing through that? it could be an anomoly like when a piece of dust floats in front of a camera and we happen to catch it on film. you could be seeing that as a “star” it could be anything out there and as far as planets go we have yet to explore anything. an telescopes can only take us so far. they are just the eyes of the universe.
