  1. i felt like i could accomplish anything. my mind was in the right place, my ambition had seen levels unlike anything recently. it probably wasn’t much to someone who wasn’t mentally ill, but to me, it was everything. i hoped to parallel the success i was achieving and see the effects it had firsthand, but until that happened, i would simply have to wait.

  2. he loved this zone. This was his palace, his refuge. He was invincible in this part of his subconscious mind. He created every aspect of it. From stones to the stars, every part of it had a reflection of him.

  5. This is my zone, it’s where I go when I can’t find another shelter. It’s warm, it’s comfy, it keeps me safe and it’s already very familiar to me.
    The only problem is that when I get inside once, the doors leading out lock themselves.

  7. “You weren’t listening to me!”

    “I was in the zone.”

    “In the zone?”

    “Yeah. In the zone.” Her hands shook as she set down her pen, but the ink remained on her fingers. “I was focused on my work. C’mon, look at me.”

    Her roommate groaned and sat down on the edge of her bed. “You need to take a break.”

    “Nope. Not now.”

    “I was trying to tell you about the party on Friday.”

    “And that’d also be a nope.”

  8. I pulled over. Yellow tape everywhere trying to warn me, to warn us that whatever lay behind was dangerous. MILITARY ZONE. It was devious. It was something we learned about in school for years and were supposed to be wary and afraid of.
    “You ready?” She asked.
    I smiled.
    “Let’s go.”

  9. zone. there are many zones, all with different meanings. zones can often be splitting things up. are you in the zone?

  10. i enter the zone. i see the others. in the same position as me, thinking the same thoughts, feeling the same things, yet miles away. we are one, yet we are not united. we can’t be. we are all out to get one another.
    we cannot leave the zone until we have done so.

  11. zone has many different meanings. Time zones. Sky zone. a place you can be. A mentality you could be in. You can be in your zone.

    It is a sad, sad, sad place.
