  11. two blocks can seem like an ocean when you’re trapped inside your own mind. occasionally she idly wonders why she pays for beach front property, pays for a view she never notices and a beach she never visits. but thoughts are not the purview of the mind-trap, feelings are. thoughts inevitably slip away to pure shuddering pain, and longing. the kind without thought, purpose or object. pure emotion.
